Why Asia?
The Asian Diaspora is a major economic force for sustainable global growth for not just for London, but twenty first century multi-cultural Britain. Research indicates that far too many London and UK businesses are not tapping into business support to take advantage of the business opportunities that emerging economies, especially India and China have to offer.
There is a great deal of informal exporting often driven by demand from family connections, but not enough strategic exporting to maximize profitability with these countries.
Our primary aim is to help new and existing SMEs to access new market opportunities in India and China through a series of bi-lateral trade activities and initiatives to support internationalisation. We will do this by building the capacity and knowledge of participating organisations so that they can successfully carry out international trade.
Political, commercial, social, cultural, educational and environmental factors are bringing local communities, cities and countries together and opening new doors for exchange of ideas, knowledge, joint ventures and new paradigms.
